As we were leaving we saw the people from the funeral home carrying Lavren into the church. My son asked me questions, and I tried my best to answer. To children, death is a hard concept to understand, but because of their innocence, it is without emotion. As we get older, it's harder to accept and harder to deal with the emotions of losing a loved one. I pray for your family during this time, that although you will mourn, you will also be comforted by God's love & grace.
I was sitting here on my computer at home tonight, and I thought of Lavern. I didn't know his name, and that bothered me, so I wanted to know. I felt it was right to pay respect to the life he had lived, and to offer you mine & my son's condolences. God bless you.
