Robert J. Gilbert "Rocky", 78, of Delafield, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Dorothy, sons Jeff (Cathy) Gilbert, Scott (Kay) Gilbert, Steve (Lisa) Gilbert, Michael Gilbert and daughter Theresa Hoban. Loving grandpa to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Catherine Gilbert and brother James Gilbert Jr.
Bob was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with service during the Korean War. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services for Bob will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial with military honors will take place at Delafield City Cemetery on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 9:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Delafield American Legion Post #196, 333 N Lapham Peak Rd, PO Box 152, Delafield, WI 53018.
